• Before Use: • Confirm expiration date and integrity of the vacuum seal. • Check the required volume for specific test protocols.
• Blood Collection: • Collect blood through standard venipuncture technique. • Fill tube to the indicated volume. • Immediately invert the tube gently 8–10 times to mix heparin with blood.
• Centrifugation: • Centrifuge the tube for 10–15 minutes at 3000–3500 rpm. • The plasma will separate and remain above the blood cells
• Testing: • Use the plasma directly for testing on biochemistry analyzers. • Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
• Storage & Handling: • Store at 2–25°C, away from direct sunlight. • Use within 2–4 hours for best accuracy.

Note:Dispose of as per biohazard waste protocols after single use.
