Gown Caps are protective garments made from non-woven or coated fabric, designed to cover the body and head during surgical procedures or in sterile environments.

Usage
  • Worn by surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff during operations or sterile procedures.
  • Used in isolation wards, ICUs, and laboratories to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Ideal for cleanrooms, pharma manufacturing, and food processing units.
  • Prevents the transmission of infectious agents by providing full upper body and head coverage.
  • Before Use: • Ensure the gown cap is intact and sterile (if required). • Perform hand hygiene before wearing.
  • Wearing: • Unfold the gown and insert arms through sleeves. • Secure the waist and neck ties for a snug fit. • Pull the attached cap over your head to cover hair completely. • Adjust cuffs over gloves if needed.
  • During Use: • Do not touch external surfaces of the gown cap unnecessarily. • Avoid reusing disposable gown caps.
  • After Use: • Untie and remove the gown by peeling it away from the back or shoulders. • Remove the cap last by touching only the inner side. • Dispose of the gown cap in a biohazard bin. • Wash or sanitize hands thoroughly after removal.
