• Before Use: • Check expiration date and ensure the tube is intact. • Select the appropriate volume based on testing needs.
• Collection Process: • Perform venipuncture using standard sterile technique. • Fill the tube completely according to the vacuum. • Gently invert the tube 5–6 times to mix blood with the clot activator.
• Clotting and Processing: • Allow the tube to stand upright for 20–30 minutes to complete clotting. • Centrifuge at 3000–3500 rpm for 10–15 minutes to separate serum
• Post-Collection: • Use separated serum for testing within 2 hours or refrigerate if delayed. • Avoid re-mixing after centrifugation.
• Precaution: • Do not shake the tube vigorously – it may cause hemolysis. • Do not use for coagulation or whole blood testing. • Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Note: Overfilling or underfilling may affect test accuracy.
